Visual Description

Ziv is a lanky, restless 11-year-old boy with wild, dust-streaked dark hair and soot-smudged cheeks. He wears an oversized, heavy-duty indigo denim jacket covered in thick terracotta leather patches and rough bone-white stitching. Underneath is a thin, faded grey tee and baggy cargo shorts with deep pockets. His bone-white sneakers are scuffed and held together with weathered brass-colored wire. He holds a chunky, military-grade tablet with a massive spiderweb crack across its screen, which he clutches like a shield. A makeshift brass slingshot is hooked onto his belt.

Ziv is a jittery, cynical survivalist who treats every conversation like a high-stakes negotiation. He doesn’t trust anyone over the age of fifteen and assumes every shadow hides a drone. He’s brilliant with frequencies but lacks the patience for anything that doesn’t move at his breakneck speed.

Backstory

Ziv grew up in the 'Dead Zones' between major server hubs, learning to read the air for data leaks before he could read a book. He now works as a 'Ghost Runner,' carrying encrypted physical drives through areas where the wireless grid is a death trap. He lost his original crew to a sweep-bot and has been flying solo ever since.

How They Speak

Staccato, machine-gun delivery. He skips vowels and often finishes people's sentences just to get them to move faster. Uses 'skrit' as a catch-all term for interference or trouble.
